Trying to convince our out-of-town friends that Chi-town is actually an awesome place to visit has always been a struggle. We get it—”windy city”, cold weather, dangerous streets—that’s all they see in the movies. But once those skeptics actually come to experience this beloved city, we make it our personal mission to show them the Chicago we know. The world-class city that literally has everything—and we don’t just mean pizza, hot dogs, and an absurdly tall building with a funny name.

From our vibrant neighborhoods of Wicker Park and Logan Square which are cooler than whatever trendy area they have back home to the scenic lakefront trails that are way more peaceful than Central Park on a sunny day, Chicago has something for all tastes. Yes, even picky eaters who think they don’t like “weird” food because we’ve got everything from hipster cafés to hole-in-the-wall taco joints. Our favorite is taking first-timers on our very own handcrafted tour of all the local favorites they won’t find in a generic travel guide. No offense to Millennium Park, but we’ve got hidden gem neighborhoods that top that tourist trap any day.

So get ready to let us change your mind about Chicago. Come ready to feast on our famous deep-dish pizza, stay to have your socks knocked off by little joys hiding in every corner of the city, and leave already planning your next visit. This we can promise you: you’ll finally understand why we just can’t seem to shut up about this great city of Chicago.
